Verbatim Advisory Group tells you what middle management and channel executives are saying about their company's performance. That's the edge you need for investment decisions.

Traditional research tools such as government statistics, industry publications and other syndicated data are widely distributed and are therefore unlikely to give you a jump on the street. CEO/CFO interviews and expert panels typically shed light on the business drivers at a company or within an industry, but don’t yield the kind of real-time performance data that predicts stock price movement.

In contrast, Verbatim Advisory Group conducts multiple interviews with managers at target firms, their business partners, and competitors. These interviews answer specific questions that will drive an investment decision. Moving beyond general company knowledge, our clients need to know how a specific event or trend is perceived by numerous middle managers and channel executives within a set of companies.

What's New

October 14, 2007 – VERBATIM ADDS 13th LANGUAGE TO ITS GLOBAL CAPABILITIES. To fulfill client requests to investigate non-US markets, Verbatim added staff so that investigations in Swedish and Dutch are now available to clients. Verbatim has already offered programs in Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Portuguese, and other languages. "I know how my company is doing in the United States," mentioned a Portfolio Manager, "And now I can understand what's happening overseas." With investors increasingly focused on growth outside of the U.S., investors have been seeking better ways to understand these regions. The Swedish snus market and Netherlands GPS market have been among those recently investigated using this new language capability. Many Verbatim investigations encompass several languages, such as a recent investigation that involved interviews into Germany, France, UK, India, and China. Verbatim conducts most of its non-English interviews from its London and Tokyo offices.

June 21, 2006 – IMPROVED ACCURACY TRENDS AMONG VERBATIM'S FINDINGS. A study released today shows continued improvement in the accuracy of Verbatim's estimates of corporate performance. For the more recent period, the variance between the Verbatim estimate and actual reported sales narrowed by an average of 105 basis points. This increase in accuracy stems primarily from changes made to Verbatim's interview methodologies, bias adjustments, and detection of reliable contacts.
