John Strehle, CFA, is the managing partner
of Verbatim Advisory Group. John has spent the past 17 years
in intelligence gathering and analysis. After graduating from
Hamilton College, he served as a Naval Intelligence Officer focused
on Middle East activities. He then worked at Accenture's Seattle
office and earned an MBA at the University of Washington, followed
by 5 years in New York as an Analyst for funds at Prudential and Oppenheimer. While on Wall Street, he became an advocate
of bottom-up, interview-based research, finding this type of
information flow – if properly
treated and statistically significant – to be more reliable
than sell-side and management sources. With Verbatim, he created
a platform with the information-gathering power of more than
100 seasoned staff members and a process that integrates each
data point into an investable conclusion.

Enrico Brosio is the Managing Director for

blue chip clients. He then moved to France where he co-founded
Gaiatel/Faxnet, a telecom service reseller for Cable & Wireless
that was subsequently sold to the competition. Next Enrico moved
to the United Kingdom where he gained valuable experience in
financial analysis with Merrill Lynch and in corporate development
with Level 3 Communications. More recently, he co-founded Avondi,
Europe’s first venture backed trade exchange. With Verbatim,
Enrico now works with European-based fund managers and equity
analysts helping them make more informed investment decisions.
